INKZ and LAyORZORZORZ

Hello everybody. I finished the inks today, it was a good time. I tried a bunch of new stuff on it, like stippling. I don't think I have done it since the sixth grade.  It takes FOREVER, but it is totally worth it.

That is going to be the top layer for my screen. The bottom fills out the circle that will be around the goat and the fish.

So, I should have the screen done hopefully by tomorrow, with a super duper scan. Check back tomorrow broz.

Process

I am going to start  showing some process work on here, mostly because that is most of the artwork I have to show. This piece is going to be a screen print and a digital piece.

First I start out with a rough sketch in a notebook/sketchbook, in order to get the layout just how I want. The more I go through school the more and more I realize that thumbnails are wicked important.

Next I move on to actually doing the pencils. I may move some stuff around while in this step if I feel it is necessary.
I would just like to add that the circle in the background is a dinner plate, you never know what you can use. After pencils I create a blue line for inking. If anyone out there wants to know how to do this shoot me an e-mail and I will let you know. I do the blue line because it gets rid of any mistakes/smudges I may have created on the image its self.

That is the blue line. Check back tomorrow for inks, layers for a screen, and possibly even a completed print.
